As you're creeping through the dark dungeon, you come across an odd sight. An open hallway ahead of you offers a peek of an intriguing scene. Inside the green-tinted hallway you can see a number of expensive-looking treasures just suspended in midair, waiting to be claimed. You approach the doorway and reach for a silver short sword just two feet in front of you.
Your hand meets resistance but slips right in. Just as your fingers wrap around the hilt of the sword, you feel it pull back on your arm with great force. As you are sucked into the gelatinous cube, you realize that resistance is impossible. You hold your breath and brace for the gradually-spreading burning sensation all over your body to get much worse over the next few hours. Your party was mostly wiped out. Only you and the hard-partying rogue, Farty McFly, have survived up to this point and he’s not likely to come back for you.
